Why is it important to make sure that my web browser is up to date?
How can I make sure that my web browser is up to date?
Chrome:
1. Open Chrome. 2. Open the Menu (three dots in the top right corner). 3. Select Help > About Google Chrome from the menu. 4. Check to see if Chrome is up to date. If not, click Update Google Chrome. 5. Close your browser and relaunch it to apply the update.
Firefox:
1. Open Firefox. 2. Open the Menu (three dots in the top right corner). 3. Select Help > About Firefox 4. Click Restart to Update Firefox.
Microsoft Edge:
1. Open Microsoft Edge. 2. Open the Menu (three dots in the top right corner). 3. Select Help and Feedback > About Microsoft Edge. 4. If there is an update available, it will begin updating automatically.
Safari:
1. Open the Apple menu in the top left corner of your screen. 2. Select System Preferences. 3. Click on Software Update. 4. Click Upgrade Now to update your OS, including Safari, or select Automatically keep my Mac up to date to turn on automatic updates to keep it updated in the future.
